Horizon Tech is seeking a passionate, customer-focused, and highly motivated Travel Consultant to join our team. As a Cruise, Group & Vacation Packages Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting clients in planning, customizing, and booking cruises, vacation packages, group travel, and airline tickets. Your expertise and exceptional customer service will play a key role in creating seamless and memorable travel experiences.

Key ResponsibilitiesTravel Consultation

• Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, requirements, and budget.
• Provide expert recommendations on cruise vacations, group travel, holiday packages, destinations, and airline ticketing.
• Guide clients throughout the travel planning and booking process.

Package Customization

• Design and customize individual and group vacation packages based on client needs.
• Recommend suitable destinations, accommodations, flights, transportation, and activities while staying within budget.

Ticketing & Reservations

• Book, issue, reissue, modify, and cancel airline tickets using GDS and other reservation platforms.
• Process refunds, exchanges, and itinerary changes accurately.
• Manage reservations for flights, hotels, cruises, tours, and vacation packages.
• Process payments and ensure all required travel documentation is completed accurately.

Product Knowledge

• Stay up to date with:
• Cruise lines and itineraries
• Hotels and resorts
• Group tour packages
• Popular travel destinations
• Airline policies and fare rules
• Travel regulations and industry trends

Customer Service

• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the booking journey.
• Respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Resolve travel-related issues while ensuring a smooth customer experience.

Sales & Upselling

• Promote travel packages, cruise deals, and vacation offers.
• Upsell value-added services, including travel insurance, seat upgrades, excursions, premium accommodations, and special promotions.
• Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.

Documentation

• Maintain accurate records of client information, bookings, itineraries, tickets, payments, and financial transactions.
• Ensure all documentation complies with company standards and travel regulations.

Continuous Learning

• Stay informed about new travel destinations, cruise offerings, airline updates, tourism trends, and travel technologies.
• Continuously expand product knowledge to provide expert travel recommendations.

Client Follow-Up

• Follow up with clients after their trips to gather feedback.
• Build long-term relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Identify opportunities for future individual, corporate, and group travel bookings.

Requirements

Must Have

• Proven experience as a Travel Consultant or in a similar role.
• Strong expertise in cruise bookings, group travel, vacation packages, and airline ticketing.
• Excellent knowledge of popular travel destinations, cruise lines, resorts, hotels, and group tours.
• Hands-on experience with Global Distribution Systems (GDS), including Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
• Experience using online travel reservation platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sales skills with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Passion for travel and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification from a recognized travel agency, tourism institute, or professional association.
• Valid Travel Consultant license or equivalent certification (where applicable).

Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs100,000.00 per month
