Job Overview

We are looking for a talented Frontend Developer to join our development team. You will be responsible for building the "client-side" of our web applications, focusing on translating UI/UX design wireframes into clean, performant, and maintainable code. Your primary goal will be to combine the art of design with the art of programming to deliver an exceptional, highly responsive user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Feature Development: Build reusable, modular components and front-end libraries using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
  • UI/UX Translation: Collaborate with designers to transform Figma or Adobe XD mockups into pixel-perfect, interactive web pages with smooth transitions and layouts.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and optimal Core Web Vitals (e.g., minimizing Largest Contentful Paint, improving Interaction to Next Paint).
  • State Management: Implement and manage client-side state efficiently using tools appropriate for the stack (e.g., Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Context API, or Pinia).
  • API Integration: Consume and integrate RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints, handling asynchronous data flow, loading states, and error boundaries cleanly.
  • Cross-Browser & Responsive Design: Ensure web applications render flawlessly across a diverse ecosystem of browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox) and device screen sizes (mobile, tablet, desktop).
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Write unit and integration tests using frameworks like Jest, Vitest, or React Testing Library to ensure code reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: X+ years of professional web development experience specializing in frontend technologies.
  • Core Web Tech: Mastery of HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+) or TypeScript.
  • Framework Proficiency: Strong production experience with at least one major modern framework: React, Vue.js, or Next.js.
  • Styling Tools: Experience with utility-first or component-based CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS, Styled Components, or CSS Modules.
  • Build Tools & Version Control: Familiarity with modern bundlers and build tools (e.g., Vite, Webpack) and proficient use of Git for version control.
  • Accessibility (Plus): Solid understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and semantic HTML.

Soft Skills

  • Eye for Detail: A strong aesthetic sense to catch misaligned elements, inconsistent padding, or jarring layout shifts.
  • Team Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to interface effectively with backend engineers on API contracts and designers on asset handoffs.
  • Continuous Learning: A proactive approach to keeping up with evolving frontend tooling, web standards, and optimization techniques.
