Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Management Trainee Engineer (IT) to join our technical team. The trainee will gain hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, networking, hardware, software, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and customer support while working alongside experienced engineers. This role is designed to develop future technical leaders through structured training and real-world project exposure.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems.
• Provide Level-1 technical support for hardware and software issues.
• Install and configure Windows operating systems and productivity applications.
• Assist in deployment and maintenance of servers and network devices.
• Support Microsoft 365, Teams, Zoom, and video conferencing solutions.
• Participate in installation and troubleshooting of interactive displays, digital signage, and AV solutions.
• Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.
• Assist with cybersecurity best practices, antivirus, and endpoint protection.
• Prepare technical documentation, installation reports, and inventory records.
• Support preventive maintenance and annual maintenance contract (AMC) activities.
• Participate in customer site visits, installations, and demonstrations.
• Learn and follow company SOPs, quality standards, and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with sales and technical teams during project execution.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong academic background is preferred.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi).
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
• Good understanding of printers, scanners, and peripheral devices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel for customer support and installations.
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Basic understanding of virtualization (Hyper-V or VMware).
• Familiarity with Active Directory.
• Exposure to video conferencing platforms (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet).
• Basic knowledge of AV solutions, interactive displays, or digital signage.
• Certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco CCNA, CompTIA A+, or Google IT Support are an advantage.
