Bakery jobs in Karachi

Luna Coffee is expanding. We're looking for an experienced Baker & Pastry Chef to establish and lead our central bakery, creating premium breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts for all Luna locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and manage Luna's central bakery operations.
• Develop and standardize recipes for breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and desserts.
• Produce consistent, high-quality products for all Luna branches.
• Source and evaluate ingredients while maintaining food cost targets.
• Create production schedules to ensure fresh daily supply.
• Recruit, train, and lead the bakery team.
• Implement SOPs, quality control, hygiene, and food safety standards.
• Minimize wastage and improve operational efficiency.
• Develop new seasonal and signature bakery products.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in artisan bakery and pastry production.
• Previous experience leading a bakery or central production kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of bread fermentation, laminated doughs, cakes, pastries, and plated desserts.
• Experience with recipe standardization and large-scale production.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Understanding of inventory management, food costing, and production planning.
• Passion for innovation and maintaining premium quality.
