For a one-year MTO (Management Trainee Officer) training program in Solar Operations is spread as:

1. Post-Sale Designing

Objective: Develop the MTO's ability to convert awarded solar projects into technically sound, executable designs.

Learning Areas:

• Understanding project requirements, site survey reports, and customer load profiles
• Review of approved proposals, BOQs, and equipment specifications
• Selection and configuration of PV modules, inverters, DC/AC cables, protection devices, and earthing systems
• Preparation of:
• Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
• PV layouts
• String layouts
• Equipment layouts
• Structure drawings
• Basic design of BESS systems and battery sizing
• Preparation and review of BOQs and material requirements
• Coordination with procurement and site teams

Expected outcome: By the end of the training, the MTO should be capable of independently preparing and reviewing standard commercial/industrial solar project designs under supervision.

2. Site Supervision

Objective: Develop practical capability to supervise solar project installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities.

Learning Areas:

• Understanding site mobilization and project execution planning
• Verification of materials received at site
• Solar structure installation and alignment
• PV module installation and string formation
• DC cable routing, termination, and testing
• AC cable installation and termination
• Inverter installation and configuration
• Basic BESS installation and commissioning
• Coordination with electrical, and mechanical teams
• Quality inspection and checklist preparation
• Safety procedures, PPE, toolbox talks, and permit systems
• Pre-commissioning inspections
• Inverter commissioning and system testing
• Preparation of as-built and commissioning documentation

Expected outcome: By the end of the training, the MTO should be capable of supervising routine solar installation activities and coordinating with site teams under limited supervision.

3. Complaint Handling & Operations Support

Objective: Develop the MTO's ability to diagnose customer complaints and coordinate timely corrective actions.

Learning Areas:

• Understanding common solar system faults and customer complaints
• Remote monitoring of solar plants
• Analysis of inverter alarms and fault codes
• Monitoring system performance and generation trends
• Basic troubleshooting of:
• Inverters
• PV strings
• Communication systems
• AC/DC protection
• Metering systems
• BESS systems
• Customer communication and complaint registration
• Site visit planning and initial fault assessment
• Preparation of troubleshooting reports
• Root-cause analysis of recurring issues
• Maintaining complaint history and equipment records

Expected outcome: By the end of the year, the MTO should be able to receive, assess, troubleshoot, and coordinate closure of routine customer complaints while escalating complex technical issues appropriately.

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs65,000.00 per month
