WE ARE HIRING Trainee Engineer
Location: North Karachi

About the Role
Cosmos Engineering is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Engineer to join our team. This position is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with up to one year of relevant experience who are eager to build their careers in manufacturing, production, procurement, and technical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in daily plant operations and production activities.
- Support procurement of technical and commercial materials.
- Coordinate with production, stores, quality, and procurement teams.
- Monitor material availability and ensure timely procurement.
- Assist in supplier communication, quotation evaluation, and purchase processes.
- Maintain production and procurement records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and support stock planning.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
- Perform additional technical and operational tasks assigned by management.
Requirements
- BE in Materials,Mechanical and Matellurgical Engineering or related field (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Internship or up to 1 year of relevant experience in manufacturing, production, procurement, or operations is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and procurement practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and work across different technical and operational functions.
