Education & Experience

• BS in Biomedical Engineering from a recognised university.
• 4 to 6 years of relevant hands-on experience in hospital biomedical equipment maintenance.
• Experience in ICU, Operation Theatre (OT) and Modular Operation Theatre (MOT) equipment is must.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of ICU, OT, ER and ward medical equipment.
• Install, commission, calibrate and functionally test medical devices, particularly MOT systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair ventilators, patient monitors, anaesthesia machines, autoclaves, diathermy units and suction machines.
• Provide on-site technical support to clinical staff and respond promptly to equipment breakdowns.
• Maintain maintenance logs, service reports, calibration records, asset registers and equipment inventories.
• Coordinate with suppliers and service providers for repairs, spare parts and technical support.
• Ensure equipment reliability, operational safety and compliance with manufacturer recommendations.

Required Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and practical maintenance skills.
• Knowledge of medical equipment safety and calibration procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance documentation.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
