Essential Qualifications

Minimum Matriculation (SSC) from a recognized board.

Desirable Qualifications

Intermediate (FSc/ICS) or a Laboratory Technician Diploma will be preferred.

Essential Skills / KSA

Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment and safety procedures.

Familiarity with handling laboratory chemicals and materials.

Basic record-keeping and inventory management skills.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

Basic computer knowledge (MS Word and Excel) is an added advantage.

Physically fit and able to handle laboratory equipment safely.

To assist laboratory staff and teachers in the smooth functioning of the laboratory by preparing equipment and materials,

maintaining cleanliness and safety, supporting practical sessions, and ensuring laboratory resources are properly organized and available.

• Prepare laboratory equipment, tools, chemicals, and materials before practical classes.
• Assist teachers and students during laboratory practical sessions.
• Clean, wash, and properly store laboratory equipment after use.
• Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety standards in the laboratory.
• Keep an updated inventory of laboratory equipment, chemicals, and consumables.
• Report damaged, expired, or missing equipment and materials to the Laboratory Incharge.
• Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of laboratory chemicals and specimens.
• Dispose of laboratory waste according to safety procedures.
• Assist in receiving, arranging, and issuing laboratory supplies.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety rules and emergency procedures.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Laboratory Incharge or School Administration.
