Key Responsibilities:

• Design Database Architecture that aligns with Application, Integration, and Infrastructure requirements.
• Create and maintain Data models across multiple platforms (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Establish Data Governance, Standards, and Best Practices for Schema Design, Indexing, and Partitioning.
• Drive Database Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, capitlize database optimized objects and High-Availability Design.
• Lead Data Migration and Disaster Recovery Strategies.
• Evaluate and Recommend Database Technologies for new and existing products.
• Conduct capacity planning
• Support and troubleshoot complex database issues (including deadlocks, long-running queries, and connection pooling)
• Collaborate with Application Architects and DevOps to ensure seamless data integration
• Stay up to date with emerging database technologies and trends

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science.
• 7+ years of experience in Database Architecture and Engineering.
• Experience with Multi-tenant Architecture and Large-Scale Enterprise systems.
• Expertise in SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on Experience with Database Security, Encryption, and Compliance standards.
• Experience with NoSQL, Cloud-native Databases, Data Lakes, Big Data will be a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication.
• Deep understanding of data modeling, normalization, and schema design
• Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries and stored procedures
• Knowledge of creating read heavy vs. write heavy databases, replication/mirroring and clustering concepts

Pay: Up to Rs400,000.00 per month
