Job Position: Associate - Research and Partnership

Location: Islamabad (Fully Onsite)

Salary: PKR 60,000

Job description:

Research

• Conduct in-depth desk research on businesses, financial institutions, banks, corporates and related organisations, with a focus on growth trajectories, strategic developments, financial performance, leadership profiles and market positioning.
• Analyse industry trends, country-level developments and thematic areas within Islamic finance, ESG/sustainability, good governance, wealth management and social finance.
• Prepare structured research briefs, company profiles, nominee assessments, comparative analyses and supporting documentation for awards, reports and programme development.
• Maintain and update research databases, track emerging organisations and monitor relevant news, reports and regulatory developments.

Partnerships & Outreach

• Identify and prioritise potential partner organisations, sponsors, collaborators, speakers, nominees and institutional stakeholders aligned with Cambridge IFA’s programmes and objectives.
• Draft professional, tailored outreach emails and follow-up communications to organisations, ensuring a high standard of written English and appropriate tone for senior-level engagement.
• Manage ongoing correspondence, track responses, maintain accurate records of interactions and support the progression of partnership discussions.
• Assist in the preparation of partnership proposals, sponsorship packages, MoUs and supporting materials as required.

General Support

• Provide operational and coordination support for research and partnership workstreams linked to major programmes and events.
• Undertake any other duties as reasonably required to support the Research and Partnerships function
