Our client is a well-established independent musical instrument retailer based in Sydney, servicing customers across Australia for over 40 years. The business sells a wide range of musical instruments and equipment, including pianos, keyboards, guitars, drums, and more, through its own online store and major Australian marketplaces.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Specialist to take ownership of the company's digital marketing and e-commerce activities. This role will cover website and product management, email marketing, SEO, social media, branding, and multichannel marketplace management.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Neto and Maropost, along with strong e-commerce, SEO, social media, and marketplace management skills. You should also be comfortable managing product data and integrations across multiple sales channels.

Key Responsibilities

Website & Product Management — Neto

• Manage and maintain the Neto-powered e-commerce website.
• Populate and maintain product listings.
• Ensure product descriptions, pricing, stock, images, and other product information are accurate and up to date.
• Maintain a consistent and user-friendly online shopping experience.

Email Marketing — Maropost

• Create, manage, and send email marketing campaigns through Maropost.
• Build and manage automated customer journeys.
• Segment and grow the customer database.
• Develop campaigns focused on customer engagement, retention, and repeat purchases.

SEO

• Optimise the website and product listings to improve organic search visibility.
• Conduct on-page SEO activities and identify opportunities to improve rankings and traffic.
• Apply SEO best practices across product and website content.

Social Media & Branding

• Develop and manage the company's social media presence.
• Create and coordinate engaging content across relevant platforms.
• Maintain consistency in brand messaging and visual identity.
• Support campaigns designed to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.

Multichannel Marketplace Management

• Manage product listings across marketplaces including Amazon, eBay, Bunnings Marketplace, and Woolworths Marketplace.
• Handle product integrations and technical requirements needed to connect and synchronise the website with Australian shopping platforms.
• Ensure product information, pricing, inventory, and other data remain accurate and consistent across all channels.
• Identify and resolve issues related to product feeds, integrations, and marketplace listings.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on marketing and e-commerce experience.
• Direct experience with Neto, or strong transferable experience with Shopify or a similar e-commerce platform.
• Direct experience using Maropost for email marketing and automation.
• Strong SEO knowledge and practical experience improving organic visibility.
• Proven experience managing social media and brand presence.
• Experience managing multichannel marketplace listings, particularly Amazon, eBay, or similar platforms.
• Experience with product integrations and synchronisation across Australian marketplaces such as Bunnings, Woolworths, Amazon, and eBay.
• Strong attention to detail when managing large volumes of product, pricing, and inventory data.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of marketing and e-commerce activities.
