We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer with experience in building electrical systems. The ideal candidate should be able to understand electrical layouts, review building drawings and photographs, identify electrical components, and assess electrical installations based on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Review and interpret electrical drawings, floor plans, layouts, and building photographs.
Understand building electrical systems and identify electrical components from drawings and site images.
Review and assess lighting, power, and electrical distribution systems.
Identify and understand the installation and placement of electrical equipment within buildings.
Review electrical layouts for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
Understand electrical load requirements, circuits, panels, and distribution systems.
Review and interpret electrical specifications and project documentation.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines regarding electrical requirements.
Identify discrepancies or issues in electrical layouts and provide appropriate technical input.
Prepare, review, and maintain electrical documentation and reports.
Ensure electrical work complies with relevant codes, standards, and safety requirements.
Support the team in reviewing building electrical requirements and project deliverables.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Strong understanding of building electrical systems.
Good knowledge of electrical wiring, power distribution, lighting systems, and electrical equipment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and floor plans.
Ability to understand electrical installations by reviewing building drawings and photographs.
Knowledge of electrical load calculations, cable sizing, circuit design, and distribution boards/panels.
Familiarity with lighting layouts, power layouts, emergency systems, and low-voltage electrical systems.
Good knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
