Carpe Diem Team is Hiring | Junior DevOps Engineer
CI/CD · Docker · Cloud · Kubernetees · 100% Remote
About Carpe Diem:
A pioneering IT & Software Development company serving 400+ US clients across marketing automations, media buying, and custom software development. We build real infrastructure for real products, and we want a Junior DevOps Engineer who is ready to learn fast and contribute from day one.
→ What you'll own:
▸ Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
▸ Set up and manage containerized environments using Docker and basic Kubernetes
▸ Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP
▸ Automate repetitive tasks through scripting in Bash or Python
▸ Monitor application and infrastructure performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
▸ Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure seamless deployment processes
▸ Maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or Ansible
→ You're our hire if you:
✔ Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
✔ Have 1+ years of hands-on DevOps or infrastructure experience (internship, or in-house)
✔ Have worked with CI/CD tools, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
✔ Know Docker and have basic exposure to Kubernetes or container orchestration
✔ Have used at least one cloud platform, AWS, Azure, or GCP, even at a foundational level
✔ Can write scripts in Bash or Python
✔ Have used or explored monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack
✔ Are curious, self-driven, and thrive in a fast-paced remote tech environment
Role Details:
Job Type: Full-time | 100% Remote
Timings: 11:00 AM – 08:00 PM PKT
