A Snapshot of Your Day

In this role you will spend your day supporting live substation tenders: analyzing customer specifications, compiling technical and commercial bid packages, and gathering inputs from Engineering, Civil Works, and Project Management. Your work directly strengthens the quality and competitiveness of the proposals we submit to customers and partners, advancing Siemens Energy's mission of delivering reliable, sustainable power infrastructure.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Assist in compiling complete technical and commercial bid documents for substation projects, ensuring each package is accurate, consistent, and ready for submission.
• Review tender specifications under the guidance of senior tender managers to identify key technical requirements, deviations, and points requiring clarification.
• Organize and track tender clarifications, deadlines, and submission schedules so that every bid progresses on time and nothing is missed in the run-up to submission.
• Maintain and update the central tender database, accurately archiving proposal templates and historical bid data for use in future bids.
• Prepare technical data sheets, compliance matrices, and standardized documentation packages, verifying that all tender documentation meets Siemens Energy quality and compliance standards.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Civil Works, and Project Management to gather technical inputs, support cost estimation and pricing data compilation, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Tender Management department.

What You Bring

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline, either completed or in your final year of study.
• Prior experience, including internships or academic projects, with exposure to the power sector, substations, or industrial engineering environments is advantageous.
• Foundational electrical engineering knowledge that allows you to read and interpret tender specifications and verify technical compliance against customer requirements.
• An understanding of, or strong interest in, tender and proposal management, including bid preparation support, document control, and structured archiving of bid records.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze and report on data, supported by proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to coordinate confidently with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and meet tight submission deadlines.
