Assistant General Manager – Restaurant

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented General Manager – Restaurant to oversee overall restaurant operations, team performance, guest satisfaction, and business targets. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in restaurant management and the ability to manage day-to-day operations efficiently while maintaining service and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including service, kitchen, guest relations, and overall floor management.
• Lead, supervise, and develop restaurant teams to achieve operational and service standards.
• Monitor sales, expenses, food costs, wastage, and overall operational performance.
• Ensure excellent guest experience and handle customer complaints and service issues professionally.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, hygiene, food safety, and operational policies.
• Coordinate with HR, Accounts, Procurement, and other departments for smooth restaurant operations.
• Prepare and review operational reports, staff performance, sales targets, and improvement plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
• 7–8 years of relevant experience in restaurant/hospitality management, preferably in a managerial role.
• Strong leadership, team management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of restaurant operations, sales, cost control, inventory, and customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple operational priorities.
