About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and dedicated Fire & Safety Officer to join our retail operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations, conducting safety inspections, and promoting a strong safety culture across stores and facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all fire, health, and safety regulations.
- Conduct routine fire and safety inspections across retail stores.
- Inspect and maintain fire alarm systems, extinguishers, hydrants, emergency exits, and other fire protection equipment.
- Conduct fire drills and emergency evacuation exercises.
- Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
- Deliver fire safety awareness and emergency response training to employees.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities, emergency services, and external contractors.
- Maintain fire and safety records, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure all emergency equipment is operational and readily available.
Pay: Rs35,000.00 - Rs55,000.00 per month
