Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan, is looking for a competent Office Support Staff based at Project Offices in, Skardu, Astore, Diamer, Ghanche and Gilgit.

Key Responsibilities:

Office Maintenance & Cleanliness:

• Ensure daily cleaning of office spaces including workstations, meeting rooms, and common areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen area, and storage rooms.
• Manage waste disposal in accordance with office hygiene standards.
• Report any maintenance or repair issues to the Admin focal person.

Hospitality & Logistical Support:

• Serve tea/refreshments to staff and official visitors as required.
• Ensure timely availability of drinking water and cleanliness of utensils.
• Assist during meetings, workshops, or training sessions organized at the office by setting up materials, arranging refreshments, etc.
• Support with photocopying, scanning, filing, or other clerical tasks as needed.

Supplies & Inventory Support:

• Monitor and report stock levels of cleaning supplies and kitchen items.
• Ensure safe storage of supplies and cleanliness of stock areas.
• Assist with packing and handling small-scale distribution materials (e.g., IEC materials, basic equipment for training kits).

Miscellaneous Support:

• Assist in receiving and dispatching courier/parcels
• Support field staff with packing materials and basic logistic tasks during outreach activities (within the office scope).
• Any other relevant tasks assigned by the supervisor in alignment with the project needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum education: Matriculation preferred, (not mandatory).
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably with NGO/health sector offices.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Trustworthy, punctual, and proactive in completing assigned tasks.
• Basic understanding of cleanliness, hygiene, and hospitality standards
• Results-driven, ethical and adaptable professional with a strong service and stakeholder focus.
• Strong integrity with the sensitivity to manage confidential information.
• Demonstrates superior organizational skills and the agility to multitask and assume changing strategic responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
• Possesses strong integrity, intellectual humility and demonstrable expertise in navigating ambiguity and constant change.
• It shows resilience, flexibility and perseverance, especially during challenging periods.
• Culturally sensitive, inclusive and respectful of diverse populations, reflecting the global values of AKDN.
