Full job description
- Manage complete import documentation including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, airway bills, certificates of origin, insurance documents, and LC-related documents.
- Coordinate with foreign suppliers regarding shipment schedules, documents, product details, and delivery timelines.
- Follow up with freight forwarders, shipping lines, clearing agents, and transporters for timely shipment clearance and delivery.
- Monitor import shipments from order confirmation to final delivery at warehouse.
- Prepare and verify import documents for customs clearance.
- Ensure compliance with customs rules, import regulations, taxation, duties, and company policies.
- Coordinate with banks for LC opening, amendments, retirement documents, and payment processing.
- Maintain import shipment records, payment details, duties, taxes, and clearance expenses.
- Check HS codes, duty structures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as procurement, finance, warehouse, and sales.
- Prepare shipment status reports and update management regularly.
- Resolve shipment delays, documentation issues, customs objections, and supplier-related concerns.
- Ensure cost-effective and timely import operations.
Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
