Key Responsibilities:

Administrative:

  • To perform pre and post-procedural screening of the client.
  • To provide immediate contraception advice and services with available methods (FP).
  • To diagnose and treat gynecological and medical ailments.
  • To diagnose and refer infertility and sub-infertility cases.
  • To provide detailed and specific counselling about the chosen method, side effects, and post-procedure care.
  • To sign medicines and contraceptive stock registers.
  • To fill out all relevant formats on time (handing/taking over charge and client record cards, etc.).
  • To ensure client satisfaction during and after treatment, including follow-up.
  • To review and check client information cards to ensure completeness and accuracy.

Operational:

  • To provide normal and emergency obstetrical care (antenatal, natal, and postnatal services).
  • To perform procedures and provide services to clients.
  • To provide early neonatal care and treat early childhood diseases.
  • To maintain a record of major/minor incidences.
  • To be on-call duty in case of any emergency at the center, 24/7.
  • To maintain birth and death registers.
  • To train the clinic staff on standard FPRH procedures.
  • To provide in-house/outside training to other doctors and paramedics as assigned by the management.
  • To ensure and lead BLS and weekly refresher sessions are conducted regularly.
  • To ensure at least 85% PAC-FP through effective counselling.
  • To minimize clinical incidences.
  • To ensure high-quality services by achieving at least 95% QA score.
  • This position requires the incumbent to travel 50% of the time.

Managerial:

  • To provide guidance to paramedics in performing their duties.
  • To ensure and review monthly tasks of BLS, weekly refresher sessions, emergency medicine, equipment, autoclave, waste, and other records are updated on a regular basis.

Requirements:

  • MBBS Degree
  • Should have previous experience (2–3 years) working with clinics, camps, hospitals.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in gynecology and other areas in a tertiary healthcare facility.
