We're Hiring: Food Technologist (Internship & Full-Time Opportunity)

Gear Up International is looking for a passionate and motivated Food Technologist to join our growing team. We are offering both Internship and Full-Time opportunities for candidates who are eager to build their careers in the food industry.

Position Overview

The selected candidate will play a key role in food compliance documentation, regulatory affairs, product development support, and business development. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong academic background in Food Technology and an interest in food regulations, product formulations, and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage food compliance and regulatory documentation.
• Assist clients with food business licensing, product registration, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and review technical documentation, including specifications, labels, and compliance records.
• Support food product development and recipe/formulation-related activities.
• Conduct research on food ingredients, additives, nutritional information, and food safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with applicable national and international food regulations.
• Coordinate with clients and regulatory authorities regarding documentation and approvals.
• Support business development activities by identifying new opportunities and assisting in client meetings.
• Provide technical guidance to clients on food products, manufacturing practices, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare technical reports as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply (for internship positions).
• Prior experience in food compliance, documentation, or regulatory affairs will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of food formulations, recipes, ingredients, and food processing.
• Familiarity with food labeling requirements and food safety standards.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Good command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
