Turn complex claims into collected revenue.

We are looking for an experienced medical billing professional who can independently analyze insurance receivables, resolve denials, and follow claims through to payment.

You should be comfortable investigating why a claim remains unpaid, determining the right action, and taking ownership of its resolution.

Your responsibilities

• Analyze AR aging reports and prioritize outstanding claims by value, age, and filing or appeal deadlines.
• Follow up with US insurance companies through calls and payer portals.
• Investigate denials, rejections, underpayments, and delayed reimbursements.
• Prepare corrected claims, reconsiderations, and appeals with appropriate supporting documentation.
• Interpret EOBs, ERAs, and adjustment or denial codes to identify payment issues.
• Coordinate with billing, coding, and practice teams to resolve claim discrepancies.
• Maintain clear account notes, follow-up dates, and collection reports.
• Identify recurring denial trends and recommend practical improvements.
• Protect patient information and follow HIPAA requirements and company procedures.

What we’re looking for

• 3–5 years of hands-on US medical billing experience, including substantial insurance AR follow-up and collections.
• Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance workflows.
• Excellent spoken English for insurance calls and written English for appeals.
• Experience using billing software, clearinghouses, and payer portals.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage an assigned AR portfolio independently.
• Confidence using Excel to review aging reports and track outcomes.

ASC, ophthalmology, or other specialty billing experience is an advantage.
