Medical Billing jobs

We're looking for a detail-oriented CSR – Medical Billing to manage patient and insurance billing communications. The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating claims, EOBs, and account inquiries while delivering clear, professional service to both patients and insurers.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle patient and insurance calls regarding billing, claims, payments, and account inquiries
• Explain medical bills, insurance benefits, deductibles, copays, and outstanding balances
• Verify patient demographics and insurance eligibility
• Review and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues
• Follow up on denied, rejected, or unpaid insurance claims
• Coordinate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and billing departments
• Process payments and maintain accurate patient account records
• Document all customer interactions and billing activities in the system
• Maintain HIPAA/privacy compliance when handling patient information
• Escalate complex billing or insurance issues to the appropriate department

Required Experience & Skills

• 1–3+ years of customer service experience, preferably in medical billing/healthcare BPO
• Working knowledge of medical billing terminology, insurance claims, EOBs, CPT/ICD codes, and claim follow-up
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with CRM/EHR/medical billing systems and general computer literacy
• Ability to handle difficult customers professionally
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with U.S. healthcare/medical billing
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, or physician billing
• Experience working night shifts or on U.S. healthcare accounts

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
