About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Billing & Credentialing Executive to manage healthcare billing operations and provider credentialing processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with U.S. healthcare billing, insurance claims, payer portals, provider enrollment, and credentialing.

Key Responsibilities

Medical Billing

• Help set up business operations including hiring of staff.
• Help in business development.
• Prepare, submit, and follow up on medical insurance claims.
• Verify patient eligibility, benefits, and insurance coverage.
• Review claims for accuracy and resolve billing errors.
• Manage claim denials, rejections, and appeals.
• Perform accounts receivable follow-up and payment posting.
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status and payment issues.
• Maintain accurate billing records and documentation.
• Monitor outstanding claims and ensure timely collections.

Provider Credentialing

• Manage provider credentialing and re-credentialing with insurance payers.
• Complete and maintain CAQH profiles and provider applications.
• Handle Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer enrollments.
• Track credentialing applications, renewals, expirations, and approvals.
• Maintain accurate provider licenses, certifications, NPI, DEA, malpractice insurance, and other required documentation.
• Communicate with payers and healthcare organizations to resolve enrollment issues.
• Ensure providers remain compliant with payer and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in U.S. medical billing and/or provider credentialing.
• Strong understanding of U.S. healthcare insurance and payer processes.
• Experience with CAQH, Medicare, Medicaid, NPI, and commercial insurance payers.
• Knowledge of claim submission, denial management, AR follow-up, and appeals.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple providers/accounts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare billing/credentialing software.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with EHR/EMR and medical billing platforms.
• Familiarity with CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, and insurance terminology.
• Experience working with U.S. healthcare providers and medical practices.
• Knowledge of payer enrollment and revalidation requirements.

Key Performance Indicators

• Accurate and timely claim submission.
• Reduction in claim denials and rejections.
• Effective AR follow-up and collections.
• Timely completion of provider credentialing and re-credentialing.
• Accurate maintenance of provider records and payer enrollments.
• Compliance with payer and regulatory requirements.

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs250,000.00 per month
