About the Role

carbonrepro is looking for motivated and detail-oriented Medical Billing Interns to join our growing team. This internship is ideal for candidates who have a basic understanding of US Healthcare and Medical Billing processes and are eager to gain hands-on experience working with US-based medical practices and healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Insurance Eligibility Verification
• Prior Authorization Processing
• Charge Entry & Charge Creation
• Medical Claim Submission
• Payment Posting
• Accounts Receivable (AR) Follow-Up
• Patient Statements & Billing Inquiries
• Medical Transcription Support
• Claim Status Checks and Denial Follow-Up
• Customized Reporting (Daily, Weekly, and Monthly)
• Maintaining accurate patient and billing records

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of US Medical Billing processes
• Familiarity with healthcare insurance terminology
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Background in Healthcare, Medical Sciences, Allied Health Sciences, Medical Billing, or related fields is preferred
