Normeca International AS is operating an innovative healthcare project in Pakistan, the “Mobile Multi-Diagnostic Clinic / Mini Hospital,” in collaboration with the Islamic Development Bank (ISDB) and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. This project involves state-of-the-art mobile clinics, housed in large, fully-equipped trailers, designed to deliver essential healthcare services directly to communities in the KPK and Sindh regions. Each mobile clinic supports a range of general diagnostic services and minor surgical procedures. In addition to advanced medical equipment, the units are designed with comprehensive facilities, including kitchens, laundry, dining areas, and conference rooms, ensuring complete functionality and comfort for medical teams and patients alike. Through this project, Normeca International AS is committed to enhancing healthcare accessibility and delivering high-quality care to underserved areas.

Normeca International AS is seeking a skilled, responsible, and proactive Driver/Technician to join our Head Office team in Islamabad. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation, maintaining company vehicles, and supporting general technical and facility maintenance to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Safely transport employees, visitors, and company representatives to designated locations as required.
Ensure company vehicles are clean, roadworthy, and maintained in excellent condition.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections, including checking engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, tire pressure, battery condition, and overall vehicle performance.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle servicing, repairs, fuel consumption, and mileage.
Coordinate with approved workshops and vendors for scheduled servicing and major repairs.
Perform basic troubleshooting and minor maintenance tasks related to electrical systems, generators, air conditioning units, plumbing, office equipment, and general facility maintenance, where applicable
Monitor the functionality of generators, air conditioning systems, electrical fixtures, and water supply systems, and coordinate external maintenance when required.
Assist with the transportation, loading, and unloading of office supplies, equipment, and other materials.
Ensure compliance with traffic laws, company policies, and health and safety procedures.
Respond promptly to technical or maintenance issues to minimize operational disruptions.
Perform any other duties assigned by management within the scope of the role.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Proven experience as a Driver, Technician, or in a similar role.
Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance and preventive servicing.
Knowledge of electrical systems, generators, air conditioning units, plumbing, and general maintenance is preferred
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic English communication skills will be an advantage.
Professional attitude, reliability, and flexibility to support operational requirements.
