Location: Lahore, Pakistan
Job Type: Full-time
Education & Experience
- BS in Biomedical Engineering from a recognised university.
- 4 to 6 years of relevant hands-on experience in hospital biomedical equipment maintenance.
- Experience in ICU, Operation Theatre (OT) and Modular Operation Theatre (MOT) equipment is must.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of ICU, OT, ER and ward medical equipment.
- Install, commission, calibrate and functionally test medical devices, particularly MOT systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair ventilators, patient monitors, anaesthesia machines, autoclaves, diathermy units and suction machines.
- Provide on-site technical support to clinical staff and respond promptly to equipment breakdowns.
- Maintain maintenance logs, service reports, calibration records, asset registers and equipment inventories.
- Coordinate with suppliers and service providers for repairs, spare parts and technical support.
- Ensure equipment reliability, operational safety and compliance with manufacturer recommendations.
Required Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and practical maintenance skills.
- Knowledge of medical equipment safety and calibration procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance documentation.
- Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
