Medical Laboratory Technology jobs

Responsibilities:-

• Collect and process blood, urine, and other body fluid samples.
• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests (e.g., hematology, biochemistry, microbiology).
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Ensure all samples are accurately labeled and documented.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the lab according to safety standards.
• Follow hospital protocols and ensure timely reporting of results.
• Assist in inventory management of lab supplies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT/BMLT) or relevant qualification.
• Minimum (1) year of experience in a clinical laboratory.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment and procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in shifts, including weekends if required.
• Familiarity with quality control and infection control standards.
