District Medical Officer

Job Purpose

Responsible for medical claims assessment, healthcare provider evaluation, clinical compliance, and coordination with hospitals, clients, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate medical claims, patient eligibility, and supporting documents.
• Assess healthcare service quality and conduct provider/hospital inspections when required.
• Review discharge plans and provide appropriate medical recommendations.
• Coordinate with hospitals, healthcare providers, clients, and internal departments.
• Handle medical-related complaints and provide timely resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, policies, and applicable regulations.
• Maintain medical records and assist with SOPs, reports, and documentation.

Requirements

• MBBS from a recognized institution.
• Valid PMDC registration/license.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, hospital administration, medical claims, or health insurance is an advantage.
• Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in English and Urdu.

Pay: Up to Rs126,000.00 per month
