Full job description

  • Provide direct medical care including diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients in outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Conduct thorough medical assessments and physical exams to determine health conditions.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies based on clinical guidelines and patient conditions.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to improve outcomes.
  • Perform medical procedures and provide emergency care, including stabilization of critical patients.
  • Collaborate with medical teams (nurses, specialists, allied health staff) for comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health management, and lifestyle improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, ethical standards, and hospital policies.
  • Participate in professional development activities, including continuing medical education and research.

Requirements:

  • MBBS with valid PMDC registration.
  • ICU/Critical Care experience is mandatory.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Experience managing critically ill and ventilated patients.
  • BLS/ACLS certification preferred.
  • Good clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Willing to work rotational/night shifts.
