Job Summary:

As a Medical Officer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients, assisting in diagnosis and treatment, and ensuring medical services are delivered efficiently and ethically. Your role involves both direct patient care and support in implementing clinical protocols, maintaining patient records, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care and Clinical Duties:

  • Provide comprehensive medical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to patients in outpatient, inpatient, or emergency settings.
  • Ensure timely management of acute and chronic medical conditions following evidence-based guidelines.
  • Coordinate with specialists and other healthcare providers for referral and advanced care when required.

2. Medical Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records for all patients, including history, examination findings, treatment plans, and follow-ups.
  • Complete discharge summaries, referral notes, and documentation for medico-legal cases as per institutional guidelines.
  • Ensure proper recording of all clinical interactions in physical or digital health records systems.

3. Compliance and Safety:

  • Adhere to clinical protocols, infection control measures, and patient safety guidelines at all times.
  • Ensure safe and rational use of medications and diagnostic tools.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with all local, state, and national healthcare regulations and quality standards.

4. Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work in close coordination with nurses, paramedics, and allied health professionals to provide integrated care.
  • Participate in clinical meetings, ward rounds, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
  • Support junior medical staff and interns through guidance and clinical supervision.

5. Emergency and On-Call Services:

  • Attend to emergencies and participate in duty rosters, including night shifts, holidays, and weekends as required.
  • Stabilize patients and coordinate emergency referrals or transfers when necessary.

6. Public Health and Preventive Care:

  • Promote health education, disease prevention, and awareness campaigns among patients and the community.
  • Support vaccination drives, screening programs, and public health initiatives as part of institutional outreach.

7. Continuous Learning and Improvement:

  • Stay updated with current medical knowledge, treatments, and technologies through CME, workshops, and clinical training.
  • Participate in audits, case discussions, morbidity & mortality meetings, and quality improvement activities.

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs100,000.00 per month
