Medical Officer – Psychiatry & Rehabilitation Shifa Mindcare Clinic | Lahore

Salary & Working Hours

• Monthly Salary: PKR 60,000–80,000 (depending on qualifications and experience).
• Duty Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday to Saturday.
• One on-call duty per week.
• Additional patient-census-based performance bonus (ranges from 5000 per month to 40,000 per month, additional to the monthly salary. It will be applicable after 3 months probation period)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform clinical assessments, routine examinations, and follow-up evaluations.
• Provide daily supportive counselling, psychoeducation, and patient/family engagement sessions.
• Monitor psychiatric symptoms, medication response, physical health, and patient progress.
• Maintain accurate patient records, and documentation.
• Supervise dispensers, clinical assistants, and subordinate ward staff.
• Ensure proper ward management, medication safety, patient hygiene, and clinical protocols.
• Identify and promptly report clinical emergencies or deterioration in patient condition and manage accordingly.
• Complete daily clinical and administrative assignments.
• Report directly to the Consultant Psychiatrist and follow assigned treatment plans.

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS degree with valid PMDC registration.
• Completed house job.
• Previous experience in psychiatry, addiction rehabilitation, or inpatient care preferred.
• Good communication, counselling, clinical documentation, and team-management skills.
• Responsible, compassionate, disciplined, and willing to work in a multidisciplinary clinical setting.

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
