The Medical Officer provides high-quality patient care by diagnosing illnesses, prescribing treatments,and ensuring compliance with hospital standards and ethical practices.This rolesupports the hospital’s mission of delivering safe,compassionate,and effective healthcare.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1.Conduct thorough patient assessments,examinations,and medical histories.
2.Diagnose conditions and prescribeappropriatetreatment plans. Order and interpret diagnostic tests. Perform minor surgical procedures and assist consultants in operations. 3.Provide emergency on-call coveragefor critical cases. Document all patient interactions accurately in medical records. Educate patients and families on health managementand preventive care.
4.Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient medical records.
5.Coordinate with consultants, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
Working Conditions
1.Shift-based work including nights and on-call duties.
2.High-pressure environment with exposureto infectious diseases. Requires strict compliance with infection control and PPE.
Qualifications & Skills
MBBS degree with valid PMC registration.
At least 1 year housejob, 2+ years clinical experience preferred.
Strong diagnosticand decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and empathy towards patients.
Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs88,000.00 per month
