Full job description
RETAIL STORE PHARMACIST
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medicines accurately against valid prescriptions and provide appropriate guidance to customers.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and availability of medicines and pharmaceutical products.
- Monitor expiry dates, batch numbers, stock levels, and near-expiry products.
- Maintain accurate records of controlled and regulated medicines as required by law.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy, health, safety, and company SOPs.
- Supervise pharmacy staff and ensure proper workflow and customer service.
- Handle customer queries and refer patients to healthcare professionals when required.
- Coordinate with Procurement and Supply Chain teams for stock replenishment.
- Conduct regular stock checks and support inventory audits.
- Monitor sales, wastage, shortages, and other pharmacy-related KPIs.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and professional standards within the pharmacy.
Qualifications & Experience
- Pharm-D / B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
- Valid Pharmacy Council registration/license as applicable.
- 2–4 years of relevant retail/community pharmacy experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medicines, dispensing procedures, inventory management, and pharmacy regulations.
- Good communication, customer service, and team management skills.
Pay: Rs85,000.00 - Rs125,000.00 per month
