Main Duties

  • Review and check doctor orders for safety and correct doses.
  • Mix and prepare special drugs like IV fluids
  • Teach patients and families how to take new medicines.
  • Order and store drugs safely.
  • Watch stock levels so critical medicines do not run out.
  • Guide pharmacy helpers and other staff members
  • Follow local and national health laws for drug control.

Job Skills

  • Earn a degree in pharmacy and hold a valid license to practice.
  • Know clinical medicine and drug interactions very well.
  • Talk clearly with doctors, nurses, and sick patients.
  • Pay close attention to detail to stop medicine errors
