Registered Nurse (RN) – Urgent Care / Medical & Surgical Ward

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to patients.
• Assess patients, monitor vital signs, and promptly identify clinical deterioration.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, injections, and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist doctors during emergency procedures, minor procedures, and patient stabilization.
• Provide appropriate emergency care and follow hospital protocols for urgent cases.
• Maintain accurate nursing notes, medication charts, observation charts, and patient records.
• Ensure proper handover between shifts and effective communication with doctors and the healthcare team.
• Perform wound care, dressings, catheter care, IV cannulation, and other nursing procedures as required.
• Monitor post-operative and medical patients and report any abnormal findings promptly.
• Maintain infection prevention and control standards and ensure proper use of PPE.
• Educate patients and attendants regarding treatment, medications, procedures, and discharge instructions.
• Ensure patient safety, dignity, confidentiality, and comfort at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness, availability, and proper handling of emergency equipment and supplies.
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and hospital training programs.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with valid nursing registration.
• Relevant experience in Urgent Care, Emergency, Medical, or Surgical Ward preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills.
• Good communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Ability to work rotational shifts, including night duties.

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per hour
