Job Summary:

Provide medical consultations to patients through online/telemedicine platforms, assess symptoms, provide appropriate medical advice and treatment, and refer patients for physical examination or specialist care when required.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct online consultations through video, audio, or chat.

Take patient history and assess reported symptoms.

Provide preliminary diagnosis and appropriate treatment recommendations.

Prescribe medication where legally permitted.

Review laboratory and diagnostic reports provided by patients.

Identify emergency or high-risk cases and arrange appropriate referral.

Provide follow-up consultations and monitor patient progress.

Maintain accurate and confidential electronic medical records.

Educate patients about medications, lifestyle, prevention, and follow-up care.

Coordinate with specialists, hospitals, pharmacies, and other healthcare professionals when necessary.

Follow PMDC requirements, telemedicine protocols, clinical guidelines, and patient-safety standards.

Maintain professional communication and patient confidentiality.

Typical Requirements:

MBBS or equivalent recognized medical degree.

Valid PMDC registration/license.

Completed house job/internship where required.

Clinical experience is usually preferred.

Good communication skills in English and Urdu.

Comfortable using telemedicine platforms and electronic medical records.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple online consultations.
