Job Summary
Western Global Services is seeking a responsible and experienced HSE Officer / HSE Coordinator to oversee health, safety, food hygiene, medical fitness, staff rotation, training, and compliance of catering personnel deployed at oil and gas sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify staff medical fitness certificates and ensure timely renewals.
- Coordinate staff rotation and ensure replacement personnel meet site requirements.
- Conduct food hygiene, sanitation, and personal hygiene inspections.
- Deliver pre-mobilization HSE training, site inductions, and toolbox talks.
- Conduct regular site HSE audits and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Monitor staff safety, discipline, competency, and overall performance.
- Maintain HSE, medical, training, and inspection records.
- Prepare monthly HSE and staff performance reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and client HSE requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in HSE or a relevant field.
- NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE qualification preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and occupational health and safety.
- Experience in oil and gas catering or manpower services preferred.
- Good communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
