Virtual PA – Online Listings & Customer Enquiries (Remote, Full-Time)
Commercial IT Recycling LTD is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Virtual Personal Assistant to manage our online sales presence across Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree, and eBay, and to handle customer enquiries with a friendly, professional touch.
This is a fully remote, full-time position — perfect for someone organised, tech-comfortable, and confident communicating with customers online.
What You'll Be Doing
- Creating, updating, and renewing listings on Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree, and eBay
- Writing clear, accurate, and appealing product descriptions
- Taking and editing product photos where needed (or working from supplied images)
- Monitoring and responding promptly to enquiries via Facebook Messenger, Gumtree, eBay messages, and email
- Negotiating prices and answering buyer questions within agreed guidelines
- Keeping listings up to date — marking items as sold, removing duplicates, refreshing stale ads
- Tracking enquiries and sales in a simple spreadsheet/system
- Flagging any issues, disputes, or returns that need management attention
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Virtual Assistant, e-commerce assistant, or similar customer-facing role
- Hands-on familiarity with Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree, and eBay (selling, not just buying)
- Excellent written English and a friendly, professional communication style
- Strong organisational skills and reliable attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and meeting response-time expectations
- A quiet, reliable internet connection and own equipment
Nice to Have
- Experience with basic photo editing
- Familiarity with eBay's seller dashboard/analytics
- Prior experience in resale, retail, or online marketplace sales
- Good general technical knowledge of computers (a bonus, not essential)
