We are looking for an experienced Video Editor to support a fast-moving international group working across film, television, branded content, trailers, social media, and commercial video.

This is not a basic social media clipping role. We need someone who understands professional film and TV workflows, including offline editing, online finishing, conform, exports, codecs, frame rates, audio sync, subtitles, delivery checks, and version control.

The ideal candidate should have strong editing experience in Avid Media Composer or Adobe Premiere Pro, along with practical DaVinci Resolve experience for online work, grading support, conform, finishing, and professional exports.

Available Openings

We have two possible openings:

Opening 1: Pakistan Daytime Hours
This role is suitable for an editor working Pakistan business hours, focused on planned edits, social clips, trailers, promos, brand videos, internal edits, rough cuts, revisions, exports, and ongoing post-production support.

Opening 2: US Coverage Hours
Working hours: 6:00 PM to 5:00 AM Pakistan time, covering 8:00 AM Louisiana/Central Time through approximately 5:00 PM Los Angeles/Pacific Time.

This role is suitable for an editor who can support US business activity in real time, including urgent revisions, social clips, sales materials, trailers, presentation edits, screeners, exports, and delivery fixes.

Core Responsibilities

• Edit video content for film, television, social media, trailers, promos, sales reels, investor materials, and internal presentations
• Work in Avid Media Composer and/or Adobe Premiere Pro for offline editing
• Use DaVinci Resolve for online, conform, finishing support, colour pipeline, export, and delivery preparation
• Prepare edits from rushes, selects, scripts, briefs, transcripts, reference cuts, and producer notes
• Create clean timelines with proper organisation, labelling, bins, sequences, sync, audio tracks, and version control
• Cut short-form social media content from longer material, including reels, teasers, clips, announcements, behind-the-scenes, and promotional videos
• Support film and TV workflow tasks, including offline edits, proxy workflows, relinking, conform prep, online checks, exports, and review files
• Export correct deliverables for review, social platforms, YouTube, websites, festivals, sales agents, broadcasters, and internal use
• Check frame rates, aspect ratios, audio levels, captions, burned-in text, subtitles, logos, slates, file names, and technical settings before delivery
• Coordinate clearly with producers, directors, post supervisors, VFX, sound, colour, marketing, and social media teams

Required Experience

• Strong editing experience in Avid Media Composer and/or Adobe Premiere Pro
• Practical DaVinci Resolve experience for online, conform, finishing, and professional export
• Experience editing film, TV, trailers, promos, branded content, or high-quality social media content
• Understanding of offline and online workflows
• Good knowledge of codecs, frame rates, proxies, relinking, export settings, and file delivery
• Ability to work from notes, scripts, transcripts, references, and rough briefs
• Strong storytelling sense, pacing, rhythm, and visual judgement
• Good written English and clear communication
• Ability to work independently, manage versions properly, and report progress clearly
• Reliable internet, capable editing system, headphones, and a professional remote working setup

Useful but Not Essential

• Experience with After Effects, Photoshop, Audition, or other post-production tools
• Basic colour correction and grade preparation
• Sound editing, dialogue clean-up, or music editing experience
• Experience preparing DCP, ProRes, H.264, H.265, MXF, or broadcast-style deliverables
• Experience with subtitles, captions, M&E versions, or international delivery
• Experience with Frame.io, Dropbox, Google Drive, LucidLink, Aspera, MASV, or similar review and transfer systems
• Experience in film, TV, entertainment, music, photography, brands, or digital marketing
• Understanding of social platform formats, including 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, and 4:5

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a proper editor with strong creative judgement and good technical discipline. They should be able to cut compelling material, keep projects organised, understand post-production workflow, prepare clean exports, and support both long-form film/TV work and fast-turnaround social media content.
