Job title: Airbnb Host (Short-term Vacation Rental Host)

Job summary:

Manage and operate one or more short-term rental properties listed on Airbnb (or similar platforms) to provide clean, safe, comfortable guest stays, maximize occupancy and revenue, and maintain property condition and compliance.

Key responsibilities:

- Create, write and maintain accurate, attractive listings (photos, descriptions, amenities, house rules, pricing).

- Manage reservations and calendars across platforms; respond to booking inquiries and messages promptly.

- Provide excellent guest communication and support before, during, and after stays (check-in/check-out instructions, local recommendations, issue resolution).

- Coordinate guest arrival and departure: key exchange, self-check-in systems, welcome materials.

- Maintain property cleanliness and presentation: schedule/manage cleaning between stays, restock essentials (linens, toiletries, consumables).

- Conduct regular property inspections and routine maintenance; arrange repairs and replacements as needed.

- Price management and revenue optimization: set rates, apply seasonal/occupancy adjustments, run promotions.

- Ensure safety and regulatory compliance: smoke/CO detectors, fire extinguishers, local short-term rental permits and tax collection/remittance.

- Manage reviews and reputation: solicit guest reviews, respond professionally to feedback and complaints.

- Vendor and contractor management: hire and supervise cleaners, property managers, handymen, landscapers as needed.

- Track expenses, manage invoicing and receipts, and report income for tax purposes.

- Handle emergencies and last-minute guest issues (plumbing, lockouts, urgent cleaning).

Qualifications:

- Prior experience in hospitality, property management, customer service, or short-term rentals preferred.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Basic knowledge of local regulations for short-term rentals and tax requirements.

- Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple bookings and tasks.

- Problem-solving skills and ability to handle guest issues calmly and quickly.

- Basic technical skills: listing platforms, calendar management, messaging, smart locks/automation.

- Ability to lift/move items and inspect property as needed (or manage vendors who can).

Pay: Rs182.98 - Rs72,410.79 per month
