Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inbound Taxi Controller to manage inbound booking calls and live dispatch operations for the UK taxi and private hire market. The role requires strong ETA management, handling of school runs and contract accounts, and consistent delivery of high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Inbound Booking & Customer Handling

• Answer inbound booking calls promptly and professionally.
• Accurately record journey details including pickup/drop-off locations, timings, vehicle type, and special instructions.
• Confirm bookings with customers and provide accurate ETAs.
• Manage booking amendments, cancellations, and rebookings.

Dispatch & ETA Management

• Allocate jobs to drivers using dispatch software.
• Monitor live vehicle tracking and manage ETAs proactively.
• Reassign jobs when required to meet service commitments.
• Ensure punctual pickups for time-critical journeys.

School Runs & Contract Accounts

• Manage scheduled school run bookings with strict time adherence.
• Ensure correct driver and vehicle assignment for school contracts.
• Handle council, corporate, and account bookings as per agreed procedures.

Driver Coordination

• Communicate clearly with drivers regarding job details and updates.
• Assist drivers with routing and postcode clarification.
• Monitor driver availability and job compliance.

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal communication skills in English.

• Mandatory experience in UK taxi dispatch operations.

• Strong knowledge of UK geography and postcode systems.

• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

• Comfortable using computer-based dispatch systems.

• Willing to work UK time shifts, including nights and weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs450.00 - Rs550.00 per hour

Experience:

• Dispatching: 2 years (Required)
• Inbound Taxi Controller: 3 years (Required)
