Accountant (Remote) | UK Company | Pakistan Based

Salary: PKR 70,000 to PKR 95,000 per month (Depending on Experience and Qualifications)

Working Pattern

• 10-hour shifts per day
• 6 days per week
• Fully remote position
• One weekly rest day
• Working hours may vary depending on operational and business requirements

Training and Probation

• One-month training and induction period
• Three-month probation period
• Performance-based salary reviews and bonuses available

About the Role

We are seeking a highly competent, organised, and experienced Accountant to join our growing UK-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has strong attention to detail.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, bookkeeping, invoicing, reporting, budgeting, reconciliations, and supporting the wider management team with financial administration and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions
• Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records
• Raising client invoices and monitoring payments received
• Managing supplier invoices and payment schedules
• Bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
• Preparing weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Monitoring cash flow and financial performance
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Preparing payroll information and supporting payroll administration
• Maintaining financial spreadsheets and management reports
• Ensuring accuracy of financial data and records
• Liaising with clients regarding invoices, statements, and account queries
• Supporting external accountants and auditors when required
• Maintaining confidentiality of financial information
• Monitoring costs and identifying opportunities for financial efficiencies
• Ensuring compliance with company procedures and financial controls
• Assisting directors and senior management with financial analysis and reporting

Essential Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field

or

• Professional accounting qualification or part qualification

or

• Significant accounting and bookkeeping experience within a similar role
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial reporting
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy

Important Application Requirement

This position is intended for candidates with a genuine background in Accounting, Finance, Bookkeeping, Payroll, Audit, Taxation, Financial Administration, or a closely related field.

Applicants must possess relevant qualifications, professional certifications, or demonstrable accounting experience.

Applications from candidates without any accounting qualifications, finance background, bookkeeping experience, or relevant professional experience will not be considered.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with UK businesses
• Experience using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar platforms
• Experience preparing management accounts
• Knowledge of payroll processing and financial compliance
• Experience dealing directly with clients and suppliers
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
