Job Title: Accountant – Restaurant Industry

Job Location: Haripur

We are seeking a competent and experienced Accountant to join our restaurant management team in Haripur. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in restaurant accounting, financial reporting, inventory reconciliation, and month-end financial closing. Applicants must be willing to work on-site in Haripur.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with accounting standards.
• Manage monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and analyze financial performance.
• Perform month-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Reconcile sales, purchases, inventory, cash, bank accounts, and other financial transactions.
• Maintain proper records of fixed assets, inventory, and stock valuation.
• Record and reconcile vendor invoices, accounts payable, and outstanding liabilities.
• Ensure all operating expenses incurred during the month are accurately recorded and reflected in the financial statements.
• Verify that sales, purchases, inventory, assets, liabilities, and expenses are properly integrated within the accounting system for accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare management reports, cash flow statements, and financial summaries.
• Coordinate with restaurant operations to monitor costs, inventory movement, and financial controls.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations and company financial policies.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant in the restaurant, hospitality, hotel, or food & beverage industry.
• Strong knowledge of Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheet preparation, month-end closing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory accounting, and financial reconciliation.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software or ERP systems capable of integrating sales, purchases, inventory, assets, liabilities, and expenses into financial reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Must be willing to work full-time in Haripur.
