Job Summary

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Store Helper to assist in the daily operations of the store by receiving, loading, unloading, arranging, and issuing materials. The ideal candidate should be physically fit, disciplined, and capable of maintaining cleanliness and organization within the store while supporting the Store Executive in inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in receiving, unloading, and inspecting incoming materials.
  • Arrange, stack, and organize materials in designated storage locations.
  • Assist in issuing materials against approved Material Requisition Forms (MRFs).
  • Load and unload materials for project sites and company vehicles.
  • Label and identify materials to ensure easy retrieval.
  • Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the store and storage areas.
  • Assist in periodic stock counts and physical inventory verification.
  • Report damaged, expired, or missing items to the Store Executive.
  • Handle materials carefully to prevent damage or loss.
  • Follow warehouse safety procedures and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Perform any other store-related duties assigned by the Store Executive or Store Incharge.

Qualifications

  • Matric preferred (Middle pass may also be considered based on experience).
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills.

Experience

  • 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, store, construction site, or facility management environment.
  • Fresh candidates who are physically fit and willing to learn may also be considered.

Skills & Competencies

  • Basic understanding of store and warehouse operations.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials safely.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Honest, punctual, and responsible.
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain discipline.

Working Conditions

  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or shifts when required.
  • Physically fit to handle loading, unloading, and material movement.
  • Ability to work in warehouse, construction, or project site environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience handling construction materials, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or MEP items.
  • Familiarity with basic inventory practices will be an added advantage.
  • Forklift operation experience or certification (if applicable) is a plus.
