Mizaaj Restaurant is looking for an experienced and skilled Baking & Pastry Chef to join our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and produce a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, desserts, and bakery items.
• Handle mixing, proofing, baking, decorating, and finishing as per recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain consistency in taste, texture, presentation, and portioning.
• Ensure proper mise en place and timely production of bakery and pastry items.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety.
• Monitor ingredient usage, minimize wastage, and maintain proper storage and stock rotation.
• Operate and maintain bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist in developing new bakery and pastry items based on business requirements.
• Follow all company SOPs and food safety standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Baking & Pastry Chef, Pastry Chef, or Bakery Chef.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, pastry preparation, and dessert production.
• Experience in a restaurant, hotel, bakery, or commercial kitchen preferred.
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and able to maintain consistent product quality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong teamwork and time-management skills.
