Syscon Technologies (Pvt.) Ltd. is looking for a motivated and skilled Network Security Engineer to join our team.
Experience
Minimum 1 year hands-on experience in enterprise networks.
Key Requirements
Network Security
- Basic understanding of Next-Generation Firewalls
- Firewall policies and security rules
- NAT and port forwarding
- IPsec and SSL VPN
- Firewall logging and troubleshooting
- Basic understanding of IDS/IPS, web filtering and application control
- Understanding of firewall HA concepts
- Fortinet NSE/FCF/FCA certification or training will be an advantage
Networking
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP
- IPv4 addressing and subnetting
- VLANs and trunking
- Static routing
- Basic understanding of OSPF
- DHCP and DNS
- Switching fundamentals
- LAN/WAN troubleshooting
- Basic understanding of SD-WAN
Responsibilities:
- Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW).
- Presales Activities to be engaged with sales team.
- Prepare quarterly reports for SLA customers.
