Sometimes busy sometimes quiet. Mornings are usually busy with patient care, doctors' rounds, and procedures. Evening shifts are busy too because of short time and more tasks. Night shifts are usually the lighter ones. The enjoyable part is attending the events and the hardest part is searching for a job here. Other than workplace culture is very fun.

It is a nice place to start with since it's a jcia accredited hospital. Overall, a great learning experience

The most difficult part of the job is coping with the shortage of staff and minimum wages. I enjoyed leadership and management there. Alongside, there are many other benefits for staffs.

Better life styles job opportunity

Aga khan hospital is very good institution or pension treatment as well as very good service of staff.I worked as a technician tele in aga khan hospital main mep dept the service was very good.

The department is equipped with all equipment and material required to carry out premium dentistry. Expertise is possibly the best in the country. Great learning opportunity.

Tuff and to much busy due to shortage of staff

It's not to bad but it's okay to living support good environment rules and regulations over all it's a good organizations to get international level experience but salarys are not enough to standard feed and education support for employees family

Balanced work

You have to set your boundaries of working while at the aku. Otherwise you'll be overworked and will have to be available in off days too. I recommend to have separate phone numbers for work and personal use so you can switch off to block unwanted disturbance.

there are more opportunities in aga khan hospital for self grooming and self development.and there are many skills for an employees and faculty staffs.and more things for learning and teachings and will get good jobs .

Good Place in terms of Compensation & Benefit, Company Culture, Slow growth

AKU is a wonderful place to work in terms of compensation & benefits, company culture, HR policies, and management. However, the size of the organisation is phenomenal. You get an opportunity to work with a lot of different teams. Total employee count is 15000+ . You get a lot of opportunities to learn, but not many to climb up the ladder in hierarchy. So, its a good organization but growth is slow.

Good for learning

Akuh is a good organization for learning but I would not recommend for long time stay at akuh, particularly for Biomedical engineers. Environment is good for female engineers.

Good learning place, but management needs major improvement

Pro: Aga Khan is a great place to work with a lot of benefits and handsome pay.Cons: Middle management is inflexible and like to micromanage it’s employee.Some of them also look down upon the their reporting personal.Over work and excessive work load is normal and people are expected to stay at the office for 5-6 hours extra.Once my manage scolded me for not coming to office on a my off day.

More time required to complete the assignments. Always worked longer hours without any benefits. Colleagues are cooperative. Medical benefits are excellent.

There is shift duties with no convenience . There is transport facility but only for few areas

Lots of work load , double duties , office politics , but lots of facilities like sports complex , computer lab , library , discounted grocery store , economy meal for staff, gym , swimming pool , gatherings , parties , celebration and many more

Pros

If you are busy in working and miss your lunch you can avail free lunch

Cons

You can avail short tea break daily
