Get ready to work
Lead Store Associate (Current Employee) - Pensacola, FL - June 9, 2023
This place will work you to your core, only running the store off of about 5 associates a day, truck is usually brutal. Expecting a 25 pallet truck done in three hours is insane

Worst job ever
Associate (Former Employee) - Anderson, SC - June 9, 2023
They overwork you. They expect so much to be done in a little time frame and act like it’s the end of the world when you can’t complete a job made for multiple people in 3 hours. It’s insane. They have no respect for their employees.

Lots expected, financial reward is good
Store Manager (Current Employee) - Manchester - June 9, 2023
High Focus on KPIs and very competitive within the business to be the best, which can lead to a lot of pressure to perform. Salary is excellent for the role you do, a lot of traditional store manager responsibilities are taken by the area manager.
Pros
Salary
Cons
Pressure

Lack of time
Store Assistant (Current Employee) - Northampton, Northamptonshire - June 9, 2023
Too much work and not enough hours in store which results in late nights on the close shift. Expectations are perfection when it isn’t possible. Days go quickly though as always busy.

Waste of 4 years
Assistant Manager (Former Employee) - Crestwood, IL - June 8, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? The pay is decent and the benefits are as well. However, this company will chew you up and spit you out. They expect loyalty but give none in return. Some managers are just sadistic, evil people who won't train you and yet expect you to know everything. I wasted 4 years. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The lack of training and support from management. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Lots of favoritism and no real accountability. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Very busy and always short staffed. Closed with myself and one other associate frequently, getting reprimanded for working overtime but had I left on time daily tasks would have gone undone leading to a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. Not worth the stress.

Not suitable for anyone with mental health issues
Sales Assistant (Current Employee) - Prestwick - June 8, 2023
Only lasted 5 months as not shown what to do from the start. Upper management were bullies and made anxiety worse. Meant to work the job of 4 people with unrealistic target times. In my probation I was constantly threatened being fired or i was not listening. I have mental health problems now im worse due to this job.

Mala……
Colaborador (Former Employee) - Madrid provincia - June 8, 2023

If you need the money?
Assistant Manager (Former Employee) - Fairfax, VA - June 7, 2023
A good place for someone young to learn and get into the swing of things, you will stay busy 100% of the time. A good challenge for 18-25 but after that you gonna see its too much work.

Productive
Store Associate (Former Employee) - Gainesville, FL - June 7, 2023
You’re not just positioned in one area but trained in all areas needed to manage the store which is a good thing. The tidiness and fast paced environment of the store is what makes working here a great experience as a store associate.

Great benefits and pay, terrible management
Warehouse Associate (Former Employee) - Center Valley, PA - June 7, 2023
I worked for the Aldi distribution center for several years. The pay, and the benefits are fantastic. I think Aldi as a company are good to work for, but the Center Valley distribution center is so poorly managed. Managers don't communicate, its constantly a madhouse, hours all over the place, no consistency with the rules and policy's. Rules only apply to certain people. Definite favoritism from the leadership, and mass amounts of inappropriate relationships between management and employees. It felt extremely unsafe working in the warehouse, it is overcrowded and the forklift drivers are reckless.
Pros
Benefits, Pay
Cons
Short breaks, rude managers, unprofessionalism, inconsistent hours, unsafe working environment
