Assistant Supervisor/ Dual Key (Former Employee) - Islamabad - February 13, 2016
Everyday we use to maintain British Council Standards and the whole center standard services from pre-examination to after-examination process.
I've learned the test administration process from the start to the end include;
Receiving/Distribution of Question Papers/Answer Scripts
How to Secure Answer Scripts and Question Papers
Venue Branding up to British Council Standards
Proper Emergency Evacuation Plan and Briefing to Candidates
Adequate Arrangements for Hall/Rooms
Proper Daily Filing with all the necessary documentations
Packing and unpacking Question Papers
Briefing to Candidates about Examination Rules and Regulations
Supervisor Checklist
First Aid Solutions
Our management is very efficient and professional, that can notify your mistakes and appreciate your efforts on time.
Well Our Co-workers are always cooperative and comfortable to work with.
The hardest part of the job is to maintain standards all the time but when you do that consistently then it's part of your job. Next if you did a small mistake unintentionally try not to give justification, just listen and try not to repeat that mistake again.
The most important part of the job is when you communicate with different types of candidates and briefing on microphone in a big hall is kind of fun.
Pros
professional working environment, respect and learning process

productive and fun work place but sometimes its hectic as well
Senior Invigilator (Current Employee) - Lahore, PPB - May 16, 2015
This job is depends on a team work not only depends on a single person. Each venue has 1 supervisor and supervisor wants 3 to 4 seniors to fulfill his task. I learn to work in a team. If your colleagues are cooperative and friendly than you will enjoy this job. Hardest part of job is when there is a huge clash between 2 exams. Hardest part is also when question papers are not complete because we recieve different packets of papers and we have to compete all papers after exam uses and unused.
Pros
Short refreshments were given to us after exam duty
Cons
First aid is also provided.

Leaning with entertainment.
Supervisor (Former Employee) - Lahore - May 30, 2014
I worked as a supervisor at British Council IELTS Dept. A typical day started at 9 and ended at 5. My tasks were to welcome candidates and brief them about how their examination would carry out, and guide them to their correct examiner. At the end of the day all the exam material (e.g. the recordings, the papers etc.) were collected and checked thoroughly and seal-packed to be sent to UK.
Working at BC IELTS taught me managerial and supervisory skills. My professionalism was also polished.
The management was always cooperative, and ever enthusiastic for improvements in efficiency of their employees.
My co-workers were friendly and highly motivated towards their jobs.
The hardest, or the most critical, part of the job was how every task had to be on time. But all the weariness and exhaustion were forgotten when, at the end of the day, we all sat together for refreshments.
