Good Exposure

Large portfolio. Great exposure. Culture is difficult to adapt for new joiners. Collaboration within departments are not effective and mature. Very difficult to make departments accountable for their issues' remediation.

management have no empathy for any worker. 3 hours extra work without pay. over burdon

management have no empathy for any worker. 3 hour extra work without overtime paid. every week they change the branch. Flow of customers are too high and they utlize 2 cashiers on which is not possible to manage clearing,bankers cheques, trainings,ATM at one counter. Customers keep complaining and staff giving wrong information about slow service. system error occurs at any time. old traditional computer systems.

mental and physical health. extra timings, high presure, over burden.

Good when i was employed

Typically day work, a lot of scope for learning, and a good workplace. It's my first job and I really enjoyed it at HBL. People of different minds of affairs. A good customer base will give you a lot of knowledge about the work.

HBL is a good place to work

HBL is a good place to work even though they do not offer market competitive salaries but the environment, learning, work life balance and many other things are excellent to spend there. I believe only salary is not important factor in job but the environment, colleagues and management etc. are other factors which keep you associated with it as far as an employee feel to have growth.

heavy workload. too much stress for operations staff

hbl is good for career startup but it is pathetic if you go long with this bank. they do not care for old employees but always interested to hire new staff. salary package is nothing against workload for operations staff not very cooperative environment

Great learning and working experiance

Working as a management auditor in one of the top 4 banks of my country has been a 360 degree learning experience for me. It helped me getting more insight into how financial institutions operate while instilling in me a passion to grow as a financial coach.

HBL is a good place to grow as it will provide you with a platform to excel and enhance your skillset in new tremendous projects streamed inlined.

I strongly recommend HBL as a good workplace when it comes to showcase and increase the skills and expertise one needs in career growth. Workplace environment is very good and secure without any gender discrimination and disciplinary actions are strict.

Less opportunities

Over all not good experience with hbl... i tried my best in my working during stay in bank, but i could'nt find better oppurtunity in hbl to secure my job because a favourtisim..that's why i have resigned from my job in hbl.

Fun place and their teach you so much

HBL is like a dream place to work at, their are so understanding and are constantly willing to help you grow, their teach you so much and their let you actually work on the main duties in order for you to learn.

Great Work experience with a vast learning experience at this big organisation

Working at HBL is a great experience with new learnings and issues to be dealt upon. Good working environment and culture. Management is supportive at all times.

Internship during breaks

This was a two months internship program which I availed during my summer breaks as I was completing Bachelors qualification. Although this helped me pursuing my career in banking because it gave me the idea of how branch needs to be managed.
