Hectic Workplace with Lots of Learning
Assistant Manager (Current Employee) - Karachi, PSD - July 8, 2015
Life at Indus Motor starts with email, from making approval papers to building consensus through A3 report writing. Follow ups with TMAP/TTAP world, Regional offices to technical buzz fields.
A day is usually very hectic but full of energy.
The job environment specially teaches you to negotiate, making your point clear to everyone etc.

Free Lunch, Pick n Drop, Ease of Timing

Assistant Manager positionsGood work place but not a career job.

Not a career job for Mechanical Engineer.
Very slow promotion criteria mostly the old people are not retiring on time so that no good opportunities created for the young blood. Company management not actually follow the TOYOTA system so that facilitation for the employee is quite inadequate.

Medical Facility for immediate family only.

over view of past experience in Supply Chain

Its been a mixture of relaxed & tense situations of work during past 9 years which enables me to learnt many things.
Off course supply chain requires enormous experience for copping up especially in tense situation.
Also during 2013 Certified Supply Chain course helps me a lot to understand even more better how to tackle during extreme situation.
Pros
Nurture me about end to end supply chain concept
Cons
Still lot of areas yet to be explored for extended supply chain Management, for that relocation is required to get more exposure.
