Safe working environment for people of all walks of life
Sales Planning, Assistant Manager (Former Employee) - Port Qasim - October 23, 2019
An organization keen on instilling a culture of innovation and safety in its workforce. The top management is easy to approach to. Job empowerment and employee training are the areas that need to be worked upon.

valuable experience to work for a new automobile entrant
Assistant Manager HSE (Former Employee) - Karachi - July 29, 2019
A typical day at work starts at 7:30 am with a morning meeting
Got opportunity to be the organization from the design phase so there is alot to learn in a new organization and witness the installation of complete plant
Management lacks management skills as haphazard decision were taken in the beginning not considering the consequences.
Hardest part of the job is to daily wake up at 6am and travel for almost 1.5 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening

Deputy Manager Administration (Current Employee) - Port Qasim Plant at Karachi, Pakistan - May 8, 2019
Over a 9 years experience with Toyota its all about learning on daily basis. The word KAIZEN or continuous improvement is actually found here. The positive interaction with foreigners is also a good sign and you actually learned their philosophy of working and the terms they used. Its actually a fantastic place to work.
Pros
Air condition Transport, Buffet Executive meals, Movie Cinema show for family, Annual Family Day
Cons
Timings are very Odd

Learning Platform
Service Engineer (Former Employee) - Karach - February 2, 2017
Indus Motor Company provides the best platform for every body, especially fresh engineers to take their work experience and skill sets to a different higher level,
Entrusted with new projects with empowerment, it grooms us to take responsibility and ownership of the every work we produce.
These opportunities aligned with Toyota Way Philosophy and its implementation tools give you a mental paradigm a shift towards the Critical thinking which ensures success in all fields.
Apart from these great things, IMC has good work environment, which is very friendly and supportive.
One key area where IMC has to improve is in its distribution curve of Management of Objective. It needs some restructuring in measuring goals and objectives.
.
Pros
Job Security
Cons
Career Growth is too much Department Dependent

Productive and Challenging Environment
Assistant Manager Sales & Marketing (Current Employee) - Karachi, PSD - August 9, 2015
A day at Toyota Indus Motor Company is full of challenges where one has to handle parallel tasks and activities. Positive part is that this makes a person capable of handling pressure situation, prioritization and time management skills. Management gives you exposure at different platforms and coaches you in difficult times and tough situations. The environment is quite open and transparent which enables information sharing, everybody including your Line Manager and Senior Management sits on the same floor so that you can easily access them in case of any problem.
The hardest part of the job is lack of planning and job load balancing. The rewards, recognition and compensation is not as per the assigned Jobs and work assignments. Performance appraisal system is not on the basis of performance rather on favoritism.

Good work place but not a career job.
Asst: MGR (Current Employee) - Karachi, PSD - January 2, 2015
Not a career job for Mechanical Engineer.
Very slow promotion criteria mostly the old people are not retiring on time so that no good opportunities created for the young blood. Company management not actually follow the TOYOTA system so that facilitation for the employee is quite inadequate.
Pros
Transportation, Annual Bonus
Cons
Medical Facility for immediate family only.
