A good place to work with smart and cooperative team for support available on 24/7 basis. The hardest part of the job is to check whatsapp and emails

- Every day is a busy day with customer handling on one hand and dealing with staff and other administrative issues on other hand. - Since most of the time is passed in customer dealing , handling their issues, response on emails or on phone. I learned to pay special attention to their grievances. Improve my listening skills to pay attention to every minor details that is given to resolve the issue. - I myself has introduced birthday celebration of employees with other management staff to motivate the lower grade staff. We have develped a culture where one can speak freely about work, about any issue he/she has with his colleagues or officers. - The hardest part of the job is to check whatsapp and emails in late hour of night specially in between 11Pm to 6am. -The most enjoyable part of the job is at the time of events like annual dinner, birthday celebration, Eid Milan or Independence day celebrations where one can speak freely with each other irrespective of his/her position. And other ocassion is at the time of filling Annual Performance when you have to choose between the Best. Having debates with the officers for filling A or B grades is the time when sometimes you have to listen to some very harsh things about yourself or even about each other just to prove that you are the best..

Work Place

The only one largest telecommunication company in Pakistan phones internet . I get training of technician and technical from this company. Its an excellent organization to work with. Very conducive work environment & variety of learning opportunities. Management here is very professional & result oriented, Workplace culture is conducive & equal opportunities for every employee.Management is very keen to provide best of the best services to the valued customers in competitive environment. Company employees are self motivated & willing workers. The most enjoyable part that every one has freedom to work and can express their ideas freely. Management is very energetic & forward moving. Chances of growth are very high.

Learning Unlimited

At PTCL you are never out of challenges for which you have to work out your own solution. If you have worked here then there is no place where you cannot work. One has to be on his toes to keep up with the pace of this organisation. The team members are supportive but at the same time other departments are giving you a challenge every now and then. Hardest part of this organisation, you cannot plan your day rather it is the day that unfolds to you and you have to manage it accordingly. If you are good at work, you are acceptable, if you are not then you have to start working.

The working experience was good I learnt a lot of things related to Telecommunication, Wireless communication Etc. The job was out door just go to the technical side if some problem happened and sort out the problem some time the problem done in 5 min but some time took whole day.The Management was very good. But the job was out door and enjoyable job The over all experience was good.

My Carrier in PTCL is very very power full , my all officers are still remember me due to technical expert and I got VSS (Voluntary Separation scheme) and say Good bye to PTCL and then I went to Oman.

Not much of fun time but good place to learn about technology

Ngn network equippments with latest dwdm technology enables you to learn more about sdh systems. Packet based 10g mpls tunneling techniques , tdm based cross connect configuration techniques and dwdm lambda channel connectivity diagrams are the specific tasks to be performed on regular intervals during job timings.

Working environment enjoyable

My bosses are trusted on my abilities that much that I feel that Iam a boss of myself.It does not mean that they do nothing infect in past I have proved my self and showed ownership to network , Igot best performer last year in my south zone . Co workers are very friendly Hardest part is that it is a maintenance job round the clock .cable cutting has no calendar.I have to take care of it as a single cut make thousand of Gbit data communication on protection link. Even at midnight and early at 4 am I moved to sites to join hand with engineers under my domain. It disturb social life but now I am loving it. the technology which we are using is updated same as in UK CHINA or USA whole country network data comm is depend upon my performance

Pressure less working environment with strategic flaws

A day is normally associated with development of various plans and forecasts. Dealing business cases for continuance of business with defaulted parties Management is mostly unaware of directions and plans required to achieve unrealistic targets Co workers are cordial, professional however, unrealistic targets has effected their integrity Hardest part is to counter argue management decisions Most enjoyable part is the friendly environment to work in

• As AM Regional Coordinator, responsible to manage all activities of NOC and DCN Site for monitoring and ensure smooth running of Network Elements (MSANs, MSAGs, OLTs, ONUs and WLL sites) through NMS clients & Trouble Ticket management through TeMIP & OVSD for entire South Zone(Sindh & Balouchistan). • Responsible for monitoring and smooth working of NMS clients of Huawei U2000, N2000 & ZTE N31. • Responsible for generating daily & monthly outages reports of Network Elements of entire South Zone (Sindh & Balouchistan). • Responsible for management of Trouble Tickets for NEs outages, Trouble Tickets assignments to concerned Field Coordinators, follow up for solution of issues & closing of Trouble Tickets. • Responsible for communication & coordination with vendors for solution of issues. • Really enjoyed to work with highly professional and helpful line managers and co-workers. • Didn't remember to find any hard time or part, as we were working as a team. • I think my whole carrier in organization was a enjoyable and unforgettable.

Good and Competetive Working Environment

In fact, for the students of B.E. ELECTRONICS, the six weeks internship is a golden chance to develop and sharpen the capability and skills in the practical environment of different organizations. My reasons for doing the internship program in PTCL is to get first-hand knowledge about equipments and procedures used in the industry to improve my professional skills, because PTCL is the best organization indeed and cover all the basic departments for a student of Electronics and Telecommunication.

 Delivers every time to high standards – time, cost, quality, efficiency and value.  Takes on and achieve stretch challenges, targets and project deadlines.  Able to maintain contemporaneous records with clear, concise and accurate data.  Ability to build and maintain good working relationships with all colleagues and ability to communicate confidently and professionally.  Willingness to undertake further training as identified by the organization.  Flexible to undertake other duties where appropriate
